Dr Aisha Sanober Chachar is a graduate of ISRA University, Hyderabad. She completed her adult psychiatry residency from Aga Khan University. She’s worked at a faculty position at Department of Psychiatry, Aga Khan University. At the same time, she was jointly appointed as a College Psychiatrist, Aga Khan University, Karachi. In 2018, Dr Chachar started her second fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is currently working with pediatric population. Dr Chachar is a fellow of 7th IACAPAP Helmut Remschmidt Research Seminar, 2019. Dr Chachar is an alumna of CommonPurpose led South Asia Leadership Program, 2017. She is also a recipient of Adopt A Delegate Scholarship at the 23rd World Congress of IACAPAP in 2018. Her special interests include Trans-cultural Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Balint Groups, Capacity building in School Mental Health and Evidence Based Academic Psychiatry. She also serves as peer reviewer for national and international academic journals.
