At ACAMH publications office, there is never a dull moment – be it exploring a new workflow, analysing data, keeping on top of Open Access developments or challenging ourselves to improve author experience. Ours is a small but busy office.
But Christmas break is a time to reflect, reconnect and rejoice. Our journals had yet another great year and we want to thank our Editors-in-Chiefs (Professor Edmund Sonuga-Barke for JCPP, Professor Bernadka Dubicka for CAMH, and Professor Henrik Larsson for JCPP Advances) all the editors, our reviewers, authors, editorial board members and our publishing partners, Wiley.
Our journal articles are ever more downloaded, read and cited. We are exploring new article types and formats (Short Research Articles and Letters to Editors) to make it more useful for wider sections of our community. We are pleased our journals are reaching new milestones of quality.
We are aware of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
I sincerely thank all my wonderful colleagues for a great year. I wish good luck to Louie Sandys, Kiera Beasley and Hannah Moore, who have left ACAMH this year for new pastures. Plus a very warm welcome to our new members of staff who are sure to do great things in 2024 and beyond; Sophie Florence, Senior Editorial Assistant, and Laura Phillips, Editorial Assistant. Everyone in the Publications Team wishes you a great Christmas break and a joyous New Year.
As ChatGPT would have said – in the realm of beginnings there lies the magic of endless possibilities!
